AUTOMATIC PLANETARY MORTAR MIXER

Standards: EN 196-1(Nov. 2005), ASTM C-305, EN 196-3 (Nov. 2005) and UNE-EN 1015-2/98.

For the production of cement mortar and cement paste according to the standards

MAIN FEATURES

  • Electric motor with frequency variator which ensures the rotating speediness of the paddle regardless of power supply and the network frequency.
  • Switch-selection of mixer speed with three positions, avoiding the serious disadvantages of the traditional, mechanical speed-switching systems which use pinion-and-crown gears.
  • Fast, bayonet-clip coupling and removal of paddle.
  • Distance between paddle and bowl: 3±1,0 mm.
  • Cast stainless steel paddle, with scoring degree indicator.
  • Paddle revolving speed:
    - Slow, 140±5 rpm.
    - Fast, 285±10 rpm.
  • Planetary revolution:
    ⇒ slow, 62±5 rpm.
    ⇒ fast, 125±10 rpm.
  • Stainless steel bowl of 4,7 l capacity approx. Bowl support can slide vertically by means of a side lever for an easy mounting and dismounting.
  • bowl_mortar_mixer

  • Power supply: single phase 110 / 240 V (to specify) + T, 50 / 60 Hz.
  • Dimensions: 43 x 57 x 56 cm.
  • Net weight: 62 Kg. approx.
AUTOMATIC MIXING CYCLEThanks to the electric speed changing system, it is possible to automate the complete mixing cycle, incorporating the electronic module and the sandfeeding hopper described next.

NEW CONTROL MODULE AP Series

AP_MORTARMIXERImprovements of the AP control for the mortar mixer:

  • Real time test parameters modification
  • Close loop control time: 0,1 ms

It has four complete selectable and adaptable, automated testing programs. Depending on the standard to be used (EN or ASTM) these programs are:

  • Cement motar as per EN 196-1 (Nov. 2005)
  • Cement mortar as per ASTM C-305
  • Pure paste as per EN 196-3 (Nov. 2005)
  • Pure paste as per ASTM C-305.

A fifth program allows the operator to select speeds and times in up to 8 different segments, which permits to adjust it to the requirements for any present or future standard.

For example brickwork light mortar, premixtures, etc according to UNE-EN 1015-2/98)

The new AP series control module allows:

  • Automatic speed changing and its maintenance during the time specified by the standard.
  • Real time indications of, the cycle step status and the paddle revolution speed (fast, slow, stop for bowl cleaning).
It actuates on the automatic sand-feeding hopper, advises the user with sound and screen message when he has to take part (for bowl cleaning, end of test), etc.

Automatic sand-feeding hopper, for cement mortar as per EN 196-1 (Nov. 2005) and ASTM C-305 which guarantees that the hopper pours sand evenly and automatically into the bowl in 30 seconds, as specified in the standards.

Water-feeding device (optional) located on one side of the mixer composed of 225 ml glass container to pour the water directly into the mixer bowl.
