PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION The only thing that moves the materials being analyzed is the air flow.
This system works without any and all mechanical means of influencing the sieving process, e.g. tappers or brushes. Which means that at the same under pressure and same sieving duration, exactly reproducible particle size analyses are possible at any time.
The strong jet of air exiting the rotating slotted nozzle purges the sieve gauze continuously.
This leads to exceptionally short sieving times and ensures that even those materials which are known to cause difficulty can be sieved successfully.
The transparent plastic cover permits constant monitoring of the sieving process.
The integrated processor permits direct conversion of the sieve residue (g) into the undersize fraction (%). The sieving results are displayed on screen or can be printed out by a matrix printer.

UNDERPRESSURE CONTROLLER The under pressure controller constitutes a process-technological enhancement of the 200 LS-N air jet sieve.
The sieve now has an automatic controller with motorized regulating flap which monitors the under pressure in the sieving chamber and thus the dispersion effect of the nozzle jet and which keeps the under pressure constant throughout the entire sieving process.

FULLY AUTOMATIC SIEVE IDENTIFICATION Manual input of the sieve mesh width is no longer necessary, thus reliably preventing sieve insert errors.

MICRO-PRECISION SIEVES WITH SQUARE PERFORATIONS WIDTH 10 μm AND 20 μm The 200 LS-N can also be equipped with micro-precision sieves with square perforations down to 10 μm in width.
