VIBRATORY DISC MILL IB-RS200
Suitable for the extremely quick, loss-free and reproducible grinding of medium-hard, hard, brittle and fibrous materials to analytical fineness
INTRODUCTION After the crushing operation in the jaw crusher, it is necessary to reduce the granulometry of the material until the necessary fineness for the final chemical analysis.
The RS 200 vibratory mill is especially designed for sample preparation for spectrophotometric analysis with X-Ray techniques.
The grinding is done in conditions of great reproducibility. The mill enables to reach analytical after a very short grinding time. The mil operation is very stable even with large grinding sets at high speeds.

DESCRIPTION The vibratory disc mill reduces the material by pressure, impact and friction.
The grinding set is firmly attached to the vibration plate by means of a pressure with a quick action lever. The plate with the grinding set is subject to circular horizontal vibration movements.
As a consequence, the centrifugal force acting on the grinding rings in the dish results in extreme pressure, impact and frictional forces on the sample. The circular vibrations are generated by an adjustable 3-phase frequency motor with1.5 kW nominal motor performance.
A sensor recognizes the presence of agate grinding sets and automatically limits the speed to 700 rpm to avoid damaging the agate.
The cover of the noise insulated grinding chamber has a safety interlock and can only be opened when the mill is at a standstill.
Graphic display in the front panel for programmable starting time (up to 10 parameters can be stored) and one-button operation.
