TRANSVERSE EXTENSOMETERS

According to standards: Class 0.5 (EN-10.002-4)

IB/MFI

Axial telescopic extensometer for testing specimens or elements with a large initial gauge length (Lo up to 1,000 mm) and high travel (up to 100 mm), such as cables, chains, wire strands, ropes, slings, belts etc. Due to its special design, it can work in both vertical and horizontal materials testing machines.
The specimen clamping system, with five circular rotating knife edges arranged in a circular arc, at each clamping point, allows to follow, without any difficulty, the movement of the rotation produced in round, twisted or plaited specimens (ropes, cords, wire strands, etc), when subjected to tensile tests.IBMFI scpecial extensometry

  • Activating force 3 - 10 cN

IB/3555

Clip on extensometer, up to 540º C, without any cooling.

This extensometer has been designed to be used directly on specimens exposed to high temperature (up to 540º C) without any cooling. It is specifically designed to work inside environmental chambers, from temperatures slightly above room temperature to 540º C.

It can be only used at particulary dry environments provided that no moisture is absorbed.
