PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION The only thing that moves the materials being analyzed is the air flow.

This system works without any and all mechanical means of influencing the sieving process, e.g. tappers or brushes. Which means that at the same under pressure and same sieving duration, exactly reproducible particle size analyses are possible at any time.

The strong jet of air exiting the rotating slotted nozzle purges the sieve gauze continuously.

This leads to exceptionally short sieving times and ensures that even those materials which are known to cause difficulty can be sieved successfully.

The transparent plastic cover permits constant monitoring of the sieving process.

The integrated processor permits direct conversion of the sieve residue (g) into the undersize fraction (%). The sieving results are displayed on screen or can be printed out by a matrix printer.

The basic unit has two serial interfaces to permit connection of a laboratory balance, printer, under pressure controller, electronic tapper and for optional PC operation, with the LS-PRO software.
UNDERPRESSURE CONTROLLER The under pressure controller constitutes a process-technological enhancement of the 200 LS-N air jet sieve.

The sieve now has an automatic controller with motorized regulating flap which monitors the under pressure in the sieving chamber and thus the dispersion effect of the nozzle jet and which keeps the under pressure constant throughout the entire sieving process.

FULLY AUTOMATIC SIEVE IDENTIFICATION Manual input of the sieve mesh width is no longer necessary, thus reliably preventing sieve insert errors.

This is particularly advantageous for laboratories in which a number of different products are analyzed with different sieve sets. Control via either the unit itself or by means of the LS-PRO software with stored database.

MICRO-PRECISION SIEVES WITH SQUARE PERFORATIONS WIDTH 10 μm AND 20 μm The 200 LS-N can also be equipped with micro-precision sieves with square perforations down to 10 μm in width.

The sieves are characterized by their high degree of precision. The deviation between the effective and nominal perforation is less than 1 μm.

ULTRASOUND CLEANING CIRCULAR BATH MODEL TS-540

INTRODUCTION The cleaning principle by ultrasounds consists in the use of sound waves with higher frequecies than the human ear can detect, these go from 15 Hz to 20 kHz.

The generator of this bath produces sound vibrations in frequencies between 35 and 50 kHz, which are propagated inside the recipient mechanically, getting a sound resonance. The energy density for the acoustic field is so high producing a cavitation effect.

This effect consists in the formation of millions of low pressure microscopic bubbles (vacuum) which promote the cleaning of the surface immersed in the liquid in a molecular stage, taking the polluting impurities and dirt away from the parts or materials which must be cleaned.

The complex parts can be cleaned without be disassembled, as the cavitation penetrates in any place where the liquid remains in contact with the surface.

The “sandwich” type construction of the generator promotes a high efficiency degree for the ultrasounds waves, ensuring a heavy and uniform cavitation and minimizing the crepitation.
